Reptielenopvang Zwanenburg is a non-profit reptile rescue shelter run entirely by volunteers. We take in unwanted, injured, and abandoned reptiles and give them a safe, loving home. Our guided tours are how we share our passion with families — and how we keep the shelter running.

Minimum suggested donation per tour
We ask for a minimum donation of €25 per tour group. Of course, any amount above that is very welcome — 100% of what you give goes directly to the care of our animals.
- We house over 100+ reptiles including pythons, boas, geckos, iguanas, monitor lizards and more.
- The shelter is run entirely by volunteers — no salaries, no profit. Every euro goes to animal care.
- Your donation covers food, medical care, heating and housing for rescued animals who would otherwise have no home.
- We are officially registered as a non-profit foundation (Stichting). Your donation may be tax-deductible.
